If you want to have the wedding of your dreams, HIRE CANDACE!!! She is an absolute star. Candace was a joy to work with from the very beginning. Her design and aesthetic expertise make her a great sounding board for coming up with your wedding concept, and her patience put me—a fairly anxious bride—immediately at ease. Throughout the entire process, she was communicative, accessible and totally organized. But, more than that, she became a friend and a confidant, someone that I plan to stay in touch with even though we're no longer planning a wedding. Candace made my (now) husband and I feel extremely special throughout the process, and she heard all of our concerns and requests, no matter how nutty, and made sure they were taken under consideration. On the actual wedding weekend, Candace had to juggle a lot of moving parts because our wedding was complicated to pull off, requiring the coordination and meditation between lots of vendors, timetables and preferences. She CRUSHED it. She was patient, unflappable and always calm, putting myself and my family at ease. My husband and I had high hopes and high expectations for how our wedding would come together. Well, Candace FAR exceeded anything we had imagined. It was the perfect day and night, and it's all due to the way that she tied everything together, paid endless attention to detail and devoted herself to getting to know the two of us and what we wanted out of this experience. Candace is so much more than just a ridiculously talented wedding/event planner. She's an amazing human being who cares tremendously about the couples she works with and invests so much of her energy, emotion and resources into helping begin a marriage, not just throw a party. There is NO BETTER wedding planner in Northern New Mexico. Hire Candace! She'll make the most memorable day of your life the best it can possibly be!

I can't say enough good things about Candace! Our wedding was a total dream come true, in large part thanks to hiring Candace as our coordinator. We were planning from out of state for a destination wedding of around 170 people. There were a ton of moving parts to the event - I'm admittedly not great at juggling lots of little details at once, so hiring Candace was a total lifesaver. From our first phone call, she put my mind at ease with her expertise and calming nature. She has many years of experience so logistically she had great suggestions in terms of set up, flow of the event, etc. She's super organized and detail oriented, and was always so quick to respond with answers to my questions when I bug her via phone, email and text leading up to the event. But I think what really made her stand out was how much she cared about bringing our vision to life and ensuring all our guests had an amazing, unforgettable experience at our wedding - she listened to what we wanted and understood our style. On the day of she put out several little fires (which are inevitable for any wedding of that size) and stayed until the very end of the night (not all wedding planners do this) just to make sure everything was taken care of and we were happy. Multiple guests commented on what a well planned wedding it was. She's also just one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She didn't make me feel bad for being particular about certain things, and she has great relationships with all the other vendors in the area as well (since it's impossible not to like her). If you are looking for a wedding planner or coordinator, HIRE CANDACE, you won't regret it!!!
